Senior Leadership

Robert Rodriguez, Chairman & Co-Founder

Bob is a 30-year seasoned expert in entrepreneurial business leadership in the fields of marketing and digital media content for large platforms such as online operations, telecom companies, government agencies and other digital organizations throughout the world.

Through NC Digital, Bob brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in international business development, government contracting and has managed complex acquisitions and workforce integrations in the U.S. and the Caribbean, as well as international regions such as Asia, Latin America and Europe.

NC Digital is an agency that has developed hundreds of digital marketing and media initiatives for global companies such as Citibank, Burger King, American Airlines and Chevron, to name a few.

In addition to the private sector, NC Digital provides, or has provided, strategic consultancy services to governments including the United States, regional government agencies in Spain and the government of the Islands of the Bahamas. Some of NC Digital’s work with the U.S. Federal Government includes micro economic development research and implementation initiatives providing different federal agencies with best practices and recommendations for contracting to small and disadvantaged businesses.

In 1995 NC Digital produced the award-winning world-record program, “Around the World in a Day” using an Air France Concorde to break the world aviation speed record which currently still stands.

Bob also co-founded Natcom Global, a digital media company with a strong presence in Latin America. Bob and a group of investors bought Natcom Global’s predecessor company, NPN from NBC Universal.

Bob is the vice chairman of The Miami Symphony Orchestra and has served as the chairman of the city of Miami’s adhoc budget committee, and also as an executive committee member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.

Bob received his Master’s degree in ALS from the University of Miami and his undergraduate degree with honors from Barry University. In 1993, Bob was a featured case study at Harvard Business School. Bob was inducted into the Hall of Fame for Advertising and Marketing at America’s largest college, Miami Dade College.

Eduardo (Eddie) Sarasola, President & Co-Founder

Eddie brings over three decades of experience in marketing and business development. He is a creative force for the company and a leader in building strategic alliances for NC Digital.

Eddie has worked on many significant advertising campaigns for corporations, such as Chevron, Coca Cola, Burger King, RJ Reynolds Nabisco, Royal Caribbean, BMW, the US Government, Hilton Hotels, Coors Beer, Lucent Technologies/Cisco, and many more.

For Burger King, Eddie developed the Kids Club Promotions concept and worked with the American Zoological Society. This was an initiative involving zoos throughout the country, which resulted in the trading of 234 million animal cards and the distribution of 16 million albums. In 1994, the “Save the Animals” national campaign won the award for Best Educational Program of the Year.

Eddie was the mastermind behind “The Coors Beer Sunchaser Around the World Flight” on the Concorde aircraft, an aviation event that broke the Guinness World Record and won the Promo Magazine 1995 Top Marketing Global Promotion Award.

For Chevron, Eddie launched their Lubricants Division in Latin America and drove the largest lubricant promotion “Hacia el Futuro” for their Delo Oils brand in the region.

When websites and e-commerce were just starting to gain traction, Eddie worked with Latin artists to develop their influence and celebrity status. He helped launch Sofia Vergara and developed the first ever Latin celebrity website, www.sofiavergara.com and e-commerce initiative with her calendar.

In a collaboration with MSC Cruises and Puerto Rico Tourism Company, Eddie brought the first ever travel-related direct-response campaign to QVC with the launching of the first thematic cruise for the cruise line. This initiative resulted in the cruise selling out in hours.

Eddie is a founding member and sits on the executive board as Treasurer of the Miami Symphony Orchestra for which he has worked relentlessly to reshape it and expose it to a greater variety of audience demographics and sponsors.

Eddie is additionally co-founder of Hispanic Friends of Israel, a non-profit organization with the mission of galvanizing support and investment from the Hispanic non-Jewish community for the State of Israel through Israel Bonds.

Eddie was an All-American squash player and Junior National Champion at Fordham University.

Reinaldo Garcia, Chief Technology Officer

Reinaldo Garcia is the Chief Technology Officer for NC Digy.

He has served as the technology head for numerous startups in the cargo and logistics industry, specifically poised at delivering solutions for Latin America, including Cargogistix freight forwarders, MercadoLibre / MercadoMago, and XLWorldwide Courier. Additionally, he served as the technology director for J Walter Thompson in Miami.

His extensive expertise and certifications include web and cloud-based technologies, Web UI / UX, Database SQL / NOSL, AWS architectures, Lambda, RDS, S3, Textract, IaaS, SaaS, React, nodeJS, python, microservices, and human bot interfaces.

Reinaldo graduated as a software engineer from the Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela. He has enjoyed living in Latin America, Europe, and the U.S. and represented Venezuela in multiple world championships and the 1992-2002 Olympic team.

Marion Marvil, Managing Director of Marketing & Strategic Development

Marion’s career has spanned over 20 years with experience in financial, consumer products and service-related industries. A Wharton graduate, she is responsible for developing revenue-generating business models and initiatives for NC Digital, as well as the company’s overall marketing and communication strategies. Additionally, Marion manages customer acquisition efforts and marketing support teams to service advertising campaigns.

Early in her career, Marion developed the Hispanic marketing infrastructure for the health and beauty vertical of a direct-response marketing agency and co-founded Vision in Planning, a corporate and incentive event planning company with high-profile clients such as SunTrust, Citrix and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. For a leading Florida real estate firm, Marion built and led a cross-functional team of marketing professionals to implement the marketing strategies for all of the company’s real estate developments, its affiliate mortgage company, and its clothing retail venture.

As co-founder of FreshConnect, Marion provided strategic marketing consulting for a variety of clients from the hospitality, fashion, financial services, security services, healthcare, yacht manufacturing, and non-profit industries. Her breadth of experience in both the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds, as well as her background in both marketing and finance, enable her to align and maintain a balance between creative development and financial goals.

Marion is active with and has served as Past President of Jack & Jill Children’s Center, a center geared at breaking the cycle of poverty for children of low-income, working families.

Mickey Espada, Managing Director, Business Development – Latin America & Caribbean

Mickey brings 30+ years of leadership experience in government, public service, tourism, hospitality, business development and marketing.

In 2008, he founded Mabudeg Corp, and has since managed it as a marketing and business development group consisting of top-level executives with extensive expertise in tourism, hospitality, business development, digital marketing, planning, and federal affairs.

As a community leader in Puerto Rico, Mickey is currently appointed Chairperson of the local government committee of the Chamber of Commerce. He is also the National League of Cities representative for Puerto Rico, a member of the Commissioner of Mayors for North America, Canada and Mexico, the Puerto Rico representative for the International County – City Management Association (ICMA), and the Technical Secretary for the Latin American Federation of Cities, Municipalities and Associations (FLACMA). For the tourism industry, he serves on the Advisory Committees for the Destination and Marketing Organization (DMO) and Puerto Rico’s Tourism Council and Business.

Mickey worked for the government of Puerto Rico for more than 20 years in training and developing experiences in security, municipalism, infrastructure, business development, marketing, event development, and public administration. While in public service, he served as Executive Director for the Earthquake, as well as the Traffic Safety Commission. In the Senate of Puerto Rico, he served on the Municipal Reform Commission and Public Corporations.

Other positions Mickey held for the government of Puerto Rico include Director of Administration of the Highway and Transportation Authority, Executive Director of Municipal enterprises of the Cities of San Juan and Carolina, Deputy Director of the Port Authority, Deputy Vice Minister of the Tourism Company, and Deputy Secretary of Economic Development.

Some of the special projects he has managed include: Development of Non-Structural Risk Security Plan for the Government of Puerto Rico, establishment of the Protective Seat Program in the Fire Department, administration of municipal enterprises in Carolina and San Juan, which included the development, remodeling, and administration of the Market Square of Rio Piedras, Santurce Market Square, Roberto Clemente Coliseum, and Hiram Bithorn Baseball Stadium, among other developments.

Mickey graduated from the University of Puerto Rico (UPR), and completed graduate courses at both UPR and Vanderbilt University in Tennessee.

Timothy M. Labus, Managing Director, Washington Office

Tim has more than 40 years of progressive marketing communications and advertising development experience, with an expertise in Federal government contract management. He is a results-focused, highly effective leader with a proven track record for developing the most advantageous strategic program direction for clients.

His skills include hands-on senior client oversight and leadership through tactical/cost proposals and contract administration for Federal and State governments, trade associations and private sector companies.

As the Managing Director of our Washington office, Tim provides leadership and direction in the planning of programs to ensure principals and philosophies are followed. He brings extensive hands-on experience, which includes working with the Department of Education and Federal Student Aid as senior manager on all FSA advertising, digital, online, marketing, broadcast and video work. As President of Low + Associates, Inc. (A Crosby Marketing Company), he managed the Federal Student Aid, IRS and other new business initiatives. While there, he acquired two major Federal Government clients in 10 months–the IRS and HRSA Organ Donor campaigns, while increasing AGI by 45% each year.

Robert (Bob) Oliva, Managing Director, Business Development

Roberto (Bob) Oliva is a business development executive with broad experience in all aspects of media, advertising and sales management. Having spent years honing his skills in television (Spanish International Network, NBC and ABC), print (The Tribune Company and The Miami Herald), Radio (The Tichenor Group) and lastly digital (Yupi-MSN). He brings extensive experience in sales development, network consulting and product positioning.

A strong background in early-stage media startups as well as projects “on the second development phase”, Bob has developed numerous strategic business development programs for events, media and communication companies in the US and Latin America.

He is also an active participant and promoter of numerous high level conferences and seminars in the US and Latin America including The Miami Herald’s Americas Conference and Portada Latin America’s Conference.
